Digitisation and the irruption of the Artificial Intelligence (AI)<\/strong> are generating profound transformations in both the education sector<\/strong> as in the labour relations<\/strong>. Online learning, personalised learning systems based on data and algorithms, as well as the development of virtual learning environments, are redefining the way students acquire knowledge and teachers deliver content. At the same time, the automation of processes, the reorganisation of work and the emergence of new digital skills are shaping a constantly evolving labour market.<\/p>

AI opens up the possibility of more inclusive and adapted education models<\/strong>but also raises challenges around equal access, ethics in the use of student data and technology dependency. In the workplace, organisations face the challenge of integrating AI to improve productivity without creating inequalities, promoting quality jobs and guaranteeing rights in a context of increasing automation.<\/p>

This symposium aims to be a space for academic and interdisciplinary reflection to analyse how digitalisation and AI are influencing teaching-learning processes and the transformation of the labour market, as well as to discuss innovative proposals to ensure inclusive, sustainable and ethical development in both areas.<\/p>

Proposed lines of research<\/strong>
Papers are invited on the following topics, among others:<\/p>

  • The role of the AI in personalised learning<\/strong> and in educational evaluation.<\/li>
  • Digital platforms and virtual environments<\/strong>impact on the quality of teaching and educational equity.<\/li>
  • Digital skills and AI literacy<\/strong> as key elements in the training of students and teachers.<\/li>
  • Digital and educational divide<\/strong>The risks of exclusion in access to new technologies.<\/li>
  • The impact of AI on the new teaching methodologies<\/strong> (gamification, adaptive learning, intelligent tutors).<\/li>
  • Digitisation as a driver of transformation of industrial relations<\/strong>telework, platform economy and hybrid work.<\/li>
  • New professional profiles and competences<\/strong> required in an AI-driven labour market.<\/li>
  • Challenges and opportunities in the talent management and employability<\/strong> in the digital age.<\/li>
  • Ethical implications of the use of AI in education and workforce management.<\/li>
  • The role of AI and digitisation in the lifelong learning and lifewide learning<\/strong>.<\/li>
  • Public and business policy strategies to ensure a sustainable and sustainable inclusive and fair labour market<\/strong> in the age of automation.<\/li><\/ul>
