The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Avila, created on 30 November 1901, is a Public Law Corporation whose mission is to represent, promote and defend the general interests of commerce and industry, provide services to companies and carry out all activities necessary to boost the economy of Avila. The Chamber brand is a fully consolidated image of prestige and the only business entity recognised worldwide with 180 service points in 31 countries.

The Chamber is a consultative and collaborative body with the public administrations, before which it represents the general interests of companies. Given the social and economic importance of its aims, the law establishes that all companies are automatically included in the Chamber's census.

We contribute to promoting and creating research projects, dual vocational training and R&D&I, fostering entrepreneurship with a positive impact on society.

To this end, the Kerbest Foundation carries out the following activitiescontribute to, foster, promote, create, participate in, sponsor and administer initiatives, centres, chairs, observatories and research, R&D&I and training projects of its own and/or in collaboration with third parties and/or public or private entities.

The Avila Foundation is a private, non-profit making entity constituted in the Province of Ávila with the aim of creating, sustaining and executing social, educational, cultural and environmental initiatives at the service of the general interest.

With the aim of promoting territorial development projects in our region, we form part of the Grouping of Foundations of Castilla y LeónThe Foundation, which favours alliances between different entities in Castilla y León with the aim of implementing initiatives aimed at improving the management, development and promotion of the activity of the foundations that comprise it. Together we will promote programmes, projects and actions in the field of social care, training, labour insertion, dissemination of the cultural, social and landscape heritage of Castilla y León.

The DEKIS group is constituted as an interdisciplinary group whose main purpose is focused on the development of research oriented to the knowledge of the digital society from a perspective of integral analysis of the phenomenon.
