Communication, Digital Law and Artificial Intelligence in Contemporary Society

In a world where technology is expanding with increasing speed and complexity, digital platforms, social networks and artificial intelligence are profoundly redefining forms of interaction, communication and social participation. These transformations generate opportunities for innovation, but also significant legal, ethical and social challenges. Digital law must respond to a scenario in which the norm often lags behind technological reality, placing citizens, companies, lawyers and judges in contexts of regulatory uncertainty. The processing of personal data, privacy, responsibility for online content, freedom of expression, digital identity, intellectual property and the governance of AI are some of the areas in which the lack or insufficiency of regulation is most evident.

This symposium proposes an interdisciplinary space to encourage analysis, reflection and global debate on the links between law, communication and artificial intelligence. The aim is to build bridges between jurists, communicators, social science researchers and technology specialists in order to understand the digital reality and propose innovative legal responses in line with ethical principles.
